2 Sketches 4 You Kazan's Sketch 24
I am finally back to card and craft making this weekend. Those of you who are close to me already know that my little boy has been sick and he was in the hospital. He is doing better and has had no more problems. My cousin's (who is more like my little brother) wedding is coming up soon, so I used Kazan's wonderful sketch to make his card. I used black colorblok paper and the white paper is from my scrap box. The ribbon is from Offay and Country Silk. The beautiful wedding dress is from A Touch of Jolee's. The Congratulations rub-on is by American Crafts.
I needed a gift tag as well. So this is my take on a matching one. All the supplies are the same.
Yesterday it was almost 80 degrees outside and sunny. After my husband got home from work we took Cameron over to the park to play. He loves to slide. The playground is beside of the lake's spillway . Yesterday was Cameron's first trip down to the water, but he just got to throw rocks in. Next we are going to try fishing.

Linnecards Card-Ability Challenge #4
This is the first card I have worked on in over 2 weeks. My little boy and I have both been sick. I feel much better, but he still feels a little under the weather. We have had such pretty springtime weather for the past few days, but it is raining out today. Maybe it will help my tulips to bloom.
This is the second time I have joined in at the Linnecards Challenge blog. They always have such great sketches and this week has been one of my favorites. For this card I used: Paper-Making Memories, K by Marcella, and the Paper Company. The cute bird image is by Pink Petticoat. It is colored with Pebbles Chalk.

2 Sketches 4 You
Spring? (Pink Elephant and Linnecards Challenges)
It was so pretty outside yesterday. My little boy and I were out almost all day. We had so much fun. Cameron got a John Deer Power Wheel for Christmas this past year, that he was afraid of until yesterday. He almost drove it all the way across our backyard, then he jumped off and said "I go swing". Which has to be his favorite outdoor activity. The picture at the bottom I took on accident. But I thought it turned out kind of cool.
This card I made for two challenges. It is the first time I combined two challenges. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be. The Pink Elephant challenge this week was to use ribbon and die cuts. Then Linnecards Card-Ability was a sketch. I used sold colored card stock in white, light blue and navy blue. I used offray ribbon for the bow. Then the BOY die cuts is from American Traditional Designs. I used blue ink to highlight it.

2 SKETCHES 4 YOU LAURA'S SKETCH 20
Well, eastern Ky is expecting more snow tonight. Not much of a change there. Today my little one decided he liked Thomas the Train. All day long, we have watched the same episode of the "cho cho". To bad a different episode only comes on once a week.
This week's sketch was so much fun. I used yellow card stock as my background and top layers. The yellow and white middle layer is paper from Frances Meyer, Inc. The bow is made from navy blue netting material. I used blue ink, a lot of blue ink. The little bear image is a download from Pink Petticoat. They have lots of cute little items. The Thinking of You sticker is by paper crafts.
